Unique Expressions is a diverse blend of independent scenic artists working collectively with a shared passion and drive to create unique, imaginative and extraordinary installations.

Originally specialising in children's bedrooms and play spaces, Unique Expressions was formed in 2001 by scenic artist Clare Nelson for the sole purpose of creating imaginative, unique and exciting children’s spaces. This soon developed to a more commercial level as Clare’s original, imaginative and marvellously creative mind was fast becoming greatly admired on a grander scale. In winter 2006, she was approached by the owners of a local country estate

who were keen to take full advantage of Clare's keen eye for the creative. It was here that Clare took on the role of Head Designer for the Enchanted Woodland Trail at Stockeld Park, near Wetherby.

Unique Expressions then expanded into the commercial arena and brought in the expertise of scenic carpenter, James Palmer and creative metal sculptor, Gemma Hay.

Now, Unique Expressions has the capability, experience and competence to work on both a domestic and commercial level. Furthermore, we have the desire, willingness and ability to create anything!
